Skateboarding, archery, campfires, and crafts – it’s time for Holiday Camp
YMCA Camp Weaver enrolling for Holiday Mini-Camp, December 16-18
Greensboro, NC – YMCA Camp Weaver is enrolling campers for their Holiday Mini-Camp, the weekend of December 16th – 18th. The camp is open to new and returning campers and will feature many of the activities that summer campers love: skateboarding, climbing, archery, ropes course, cooking, sports, crafts, campfires, and more!
“Holiday Mini-Camp is a great opportunity for past campers and staff to reunite and for new campers to get an introduction to the overnight camp experience,” says Jamie Cosson, Executive Director of Camp Weaver. “Camp also encourages kids to stay active and forge new friendships.” While parents are tackling last-minute Christmas preparations, kids will be enjoying the amenities at Camp Weaver, which features modern heated cabins, a lake, skateboard park, and much more, all set on 132 picturesque acres.
Holiday Mini-Camp will kick off with check-in and dinner on Friday, December 16th at 5 pm and will run through Sunday, December 18th at 1 pm. Campers aged 6-15 are welcome. The cost is $125 per camper, which includes all meals and activities. Campers may register online at www.campweaver.org.
