Room Rental

Pool Party Rental

  • Max of 20 participants
  • 2 hours and 30 minutes total for event
  • Payment in full must be made one week prior to the event starting.

All swimmers ages 5-12 will be swim tested and must follow the YMCA of Greensboro's Swim Test Policy. All children under the age of 5 must have a parent in the water within arm’s reach. Click here for our Swim Test Policy.

The first hour is designated for swim time, which will be shared with Open Swim.

Energy Factory Rental

Energy Factory Room | Member: $150 for 1 hour | Community Guest: $250 for 1 hour

Additional 30 Minutes: $50 

Cost: $125 Members or $150 for Community Guests

When: Saturdays from noon – 2 pm. 1 hour to swim and 30 minutes for refreshments. 30 minutes is allotted before and after for room set up and clean up, which the renter is responsible for.

Details: Max of 15 people, all those in attendance will be counted in the 30 maximum. Swim time is private. Children under 48 inches tall must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the pool within arms reach at all times. All participants must follow the Eden Y pool rules.

Event Details

  • Baptisms will be held on Saturdays ONLY. They will begin at 1:15pm. 
  • The party will be given the chance to change in the locker room before 1:15pm.
  • The baptism must end at 2pm. You will have until 2:15pm to exit the building.
  • Birthday parties or any other event utilizing the pool/classroom will be held from 12pm-2pm.
  • The party will have 12pm-1pm in the pool and 1pm-2pm in the classroom.
  • Swim time is shared with Open Swim.
  • All swimmers under the age of 13 will be swim tested and must follow the Swim Test Policies and Procedures.
  • If swimmers have a red band, an adult must accompany them in the pool.
  • The classroom must be cleaned and exited by 2pm.
  • The kitchen may not be utilized.
  • Due to safety precautions, large flames shall not be used.
  • The noise must stay to a minimum. 
  • Only 25 participants will be allowed to use the pool and classroom.

Cost
Baptism: $75 with a $25 non-refundable deposit
Birthday Party or Party Event: $200 Members | $300 Community Guests
$100 non-refundable deposit due prior to the event date.

Your Celebration Includes:

  • A classroom
  • Tables and chairs
  • Y staff member to assist with set-up, clean-up, swim tests and other party assistance
  • Set-up and clean-up time

Please note that the pool and Hayes-Taylor Y must have at least a month's notice in advance of the event date.

Community Room Rentals

Number of Participants:

  • Approximately 60 guests when set up for a banquet-style event
  • Approximately 75 guests when set up for a theater-style event

Cost: $200 Members | $275 Community Guests (due at time of booking) 
The YMCA will not refund or credit the rental party if cancellations are made with less than a 2-week notice.

Availability: Saturdays and Sundays 1:30pm to 4:30pm.  
Setting up prior to 1:30pm and/or after 4:30pm is strictly prohibited.

What’s Included: Your celebration includes tables and chairs. These are located in the community room.

  • The kitchen that is attached to the community room is not included in the price of the rental and is off limits for use by rental participants.
  • Patrons will be held liable for any damages to the facility and/or equipment used.

How to reserve:

  • First, you will need to contact the Aquatics Department to see if the date for your party is available.
  • If available, you will be temporarily placed on the calendar for the requested date.
  • To secure your rental, the YMCA must receive the full amount of the rental in-person no later than close of business of the following day. A note will be attached to your account informing the front desk that you are there to pay for your rental.
  • Failure to make payment by close of business of the following day will result in your requested date being released back to the public. The Ragsdale YMCA closes at 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, 8pm on Fridays and 9pm Monday through Thursday.

  • 1:30pm to 3pm will be designated for swim tests and swimming
  • All swimmers under the age of 13 will be swim tested and must follow Swim Test Policies
  • Any child under the age of 13 who does not pass the swim test must be within arm’s length of a parent or guardian (18+) or wear a Coast Guard-approved PFD (personal flotation device).
  • Inflatable floats & toys, arm-only water wings, water guns, full-face snorkel masks, inner tubes and mermaid tails are prohibited in the pool.
  • 3pm to 4:30pm will be designated for changing back into dry clothing and meeting in the community room for the rest of the party.

What’s Included:

  • Your celebration includes tables and chairs. These are located in the community room. The lifeguard assigned to your party can assist you with setting these up and tearing them down at the beginning and conclusion of your party.
  • The kitchen attached to the community room is not included in the price of the rental and is off-limits for use by rental participants. 
  • Patrons will be held liable for any damages to the facility and/or equipment used.

  • First, you will need to contact the Aquatics Department to see if the date for your party is available.

The Reidsville YMCA welcomes groups to rent our facilities for various events such as birthday parties, baptisms, and meetings.

*Rental must be approved by the Executive Director before scheduled.

*Gym rentals are only available for a half-court of the gym during regular business hours. A maximum of 4 tables and 24 chairs can be used.

BB&T Room

YMCA Members—$60 per hour
Community Guests—$80 per hour

*Price includes staff assistance for set-up/break-down, kitchen use, and rental of tables and chairs.
**Requested rental hours should factor in time for set up and clean up/break-down.

Additional Rental Options

Church Baptisms $20 per half hour for up to 15 people.

Patio and Playground Rental can be added to a rental package for $20 (Y members), $40 (Community Guests)

  • The rental party will make payment in full with the signing of this agreement.  
  • The YMCA will not refund or credit the rental party if cancellations are made with less than a two-week notice.
  • For paid-in-full parties that are canceled 2 weeks in advance, a refund will be issued.   
  • All swimmers ages 5-12 will be swim tested and must follow the Swim Test Policy. All children under the age of 5 must have a parent in the water within arm's reach.

Pool Party Agreement Form
