This program has a maximum of 10 participants.

Learn lifesaving skills! The Spears Y is hosting a blended learning lifeguarding course on October 12th and 13th from 10am-8pm! Registration will be FREE to participants who can complete a prerequisite skills evaluation with the Aquatics Director.

The prerequisite evaluation includes: 

• Swim 150 yards, tread water without using your hands for 2 minutes, then swim 50 yards
• A timed, 10-pound brick retrieval event in water that is 7 feet deep
